Let’s Talk About Shadow guards

Shadowguards holds a special place in my heart. It's the very first book I've ever written, a true passion project that I poured my heart and soul into. Every word, every sentence, every chapter was crafted with love and dedication. I took on the challenge of writing and editing it entirely by myself, which was both exciting and daunting.

I'll be the first to admit that it's not perfect. As a debut author, I was navigating uncharted waters, relying solely on the books I've read and the writing conventions I'd observed. But you know what? That's okay. It's a testament to my journey as a writer, a snapshot of where I started.

Now, you might wonder why I didn't hire an editor. The simple truth is that I didn't have the funds. I believe in transparency, and I want you all to know that while I'd love to work with a professional editor someday - and I'm sure it would elevate my work to new heights - that's still a dream for the future. For now, I'm focusing on honing my own editing skills and learning how to refine my stories without compromising their essence.

Looking back, I've learned so much since writing Shadowguards. There's a part of me that wants to go back and give it some extra love, but that'll have to wait. My writing style has evolved, and I believe it's for the better. Each book I write is a stepping stone, helping me grow and improve as an author.

So, what's next for the Shadow Guards series? I'm thrilled to share that I've entered the editing phase of the third novel! It's an exciting time, and I'll be putting out a call for ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) readers soon. If you're interested, make sure to stay tuned here and on my social media for updates.
